Delivery Table





The DT 100 is a flexible delivery bed. The height and orientation of the seat and back rest are adjustable. Patient transfers are easy, and lateral access for lithotomy is readily provided. The DT 100 may be straightened into an operating table. This is a useful feature in an emergency. The arm restraints may also be adjusted for intravenous transfusions.The soft and warm cushion base has a hygienic upper layer.

Company History

Phoenix Medical Systems was created in 1989 with the goal of providing cost-effective and innovative solutions for the care of neonatal babies. Phoenix was a pioneer in India in the manufacture of products devoted to infant health care. The first product was an infant incubator. The mission of Phoenix continues to be to provide solutions that match the best in the world at very affordable prices.

Phoenix began exporting its products in 1995. The open care systems, incubators and phototherapy units now reach markets in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, France, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Mexico and most African countries.

Phoenix Medical Systems was created in 1989 with the goal of providing cost-effective and innovative solutions for the care of neonates. Products

The product range of Phoenix has expanded to include continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) units, phototherapy units, electronic weighing scales, oxygen and apnea monitors and infant bassinets. The most versatile products in the Phoenix range include a comprehensive infant care centre, neonatal radiant warmer, neonatal phototherapy unit and obstetrics-gynaecology delivery table.

The comprehensive infant care centre is a single machine that combines several functions – it includes a radiant warmer, a resuscitation module, an innovative oval-shaped bed designed for convenient access, an easy-to-operate front panel, a graphic display, a pulse oximeter and a weighing machine.

Installation Base

Phoenix products are now used at the best known hospitals all over India. The list of Indian institutions using Phoenix equipment includes army hospitals spread over the length and breadth of the country, hospitals of the Apollo Group, Sri Ramachandra Medical Hospital-Chennai, All India Institute of Medical Sciences-New Delhi, Hinduja Hospital-Mumbai, CMC-Vellore, Escorts-New Delhi, JIPMER-Pondicherry, the Manipal Group of Hospitals and PGI-Chandigarh.

The company has been the leading neonatal and maternal care products manufacturer of India and expects to record a turnover of INR 1000 Million before March 2014.

Design & Development

At the heart of Phoenix's innovative efforts are the activities of the company's design and development (D&D) team, which works towards developing products that meet not only meet the needs of the Indian market but also international standards so that the wider international market is catered to. All members of the D&D group are qualified engineers whose skills are constantly upgraded. Phoenix has always absorbed and used new technologies in developing its products. The most recent project of the D&D group is an LED-based phototherapy unit that offers a number of advantages.
Industrial design is one more of Phoenix's strengths. The appealing finish and the user-friendly features found in the company's products have been appreciated by all, including competitors.

Despite there being no legislation in India to check the quality of manufactured medical equipment, Phoenix has constantly endeavours to upgrade the quality standards it adopts. Phoenix follows Six Sigma and other management strategies.
